Venturing Pack Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in California (EIN: 33-2787032). We are committed to saving animals of all breeds from overcrowded shelters, with a focus on dogs who have been overlooked and have endured the longest shelter stays.
Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome these deserving animals—preparing them for successful futures through training, medical care, and loving support.
Rescue from Overcrowded Shelters
With your help, we can cover the essential costs of each dog’s care—including transportation from shelters to our sanctuary, food, medical treatment, and other necessities—giving them the chance to escape high-risk shelters and find the loving families they deserve.
Medical Support and Training
Many of our rescues come to us with urgent health and/or behavioral issues as well as spay and neuter needs. Your donation helps fund the veterinary care and professional training and rehabilitation they need to heal and thrive.
Every Dollar Creates a Second Chance
Your generosity directly impacts the lives of the animals we serve. Together, we can ensure every animal experiences the love, safety, and dignity they deserve.
Thank you for being part of our mission. With your support, Venturing Pack Rescue can continue to transform lives—one animal at a time.
All dogs are located in Riverside County and we can meet anywhere in Southern CA. We can adopt out to any state.
Please text or call us at (714) 249-3818 for more information and to arrange for a meet and greet either in person or online and adoption trial.
Everest is a neutered male, 7 year old husky about 75lbs with updated vaccinations we rescued from Riverside Shelter in CA. We are waiving any rehoming fees for the right home for him.
He is a very friendly dog who gets along with all humans and dogs, big and small. He is also non reactive with all dogs and cats. He’s met cats through a pet gate inside the house and have sniffed the cats’ nose to nose with no reactions or issues. With proper introductions he would do well with cats. He is very calm and chill for a husky and is a couch potato. He loves going on walks and walks beautifully on leash. He would make a great companion for anyone including an apartment dog. He loves the company of people and wants to be with you as you go about your day. When left alone he loves to be on the couch or in the backyard and is not destructive. He does not like to be in a crate.
Please consider Everest as your new companion.

He gets along great with other dogs of all sizes. He loves people and will greet everyone with a wagging tail.
He is very food motivated and easy to train. He walks beautifully on leash and is nonreactive with passing dogs, people, and even cats. He is a very good boy who also eats all of his fruits and veggies! He loves all toys and is excellent at puzzle toys. He is also crate trained and will tell you when he needs to go.
Please consider adopting Pretzel and he is guaranteed to make you laugh everyday with his funny antics and adorable personality.
